DANEBANK is an Anglican School for Girls from Prep (3 year olds) to Year 12.

The school is situated in Hurstville NSW with easy access to train and bus transport.

The school was founded in 1933 with 5 young students and has developed a reputation for strong nurturing of students in a Christian environment as well as providing extensive opportunities leading to high academic achievement.

Governor General opens Performing Arts Centre
We were privileged to be visited by Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC, Governor General of the Commonwealth of Australia. Click on the Pictorial report (right) for information.

Principal retires
Miss Rosalyn Bird has announced that she will retire at the end of 2009. Miss Bird has brought stable leadership to the school for 22 years.

New Principal
Chairman of School Council, Dr Don Anderson, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Maryanne Davis as Danebank's 6th Principal. We look forward to welcoming her in 2010.
