Danebank old girls are a permanent and special part of our Danebank family.
Many old girls are welcomed for school visits each year. Some return to have a look around and see how the school has changed. Others return to coach sporting and debating teams. Still others return for special events such as the Autumn Fair and Open Day, August-Fest or a reunion held at the school. All are welcome to enrol their daughters.
Old Girls Association
The Old Girls Association is an active organisation that fosters old girls’ interests and many old girls list on the online directory that helps them to keep in touch with their year group and what’s happening for old girls.
The Association meets regularly. It aims to maintain links with former students and to foster interest in the school. The Association holds a number of events annually, including reunions.
Former students who would like to become members can click here to contact the School and your details will be sent to the Association. Former students also receive the school’s Danebank Today publication twice a year and the annual Directions publication which is specifically for and about old girls.
Old Girls wishing to organise a reunion for their year group can contact the Old Girls Association and/or the school for help with reaching members of your year group. We will assist in advertising your reunion to your year group via mail and via the Old Girls online directory.
The school has an Archival collection and we welcome donations of interesting memorabilia.
We acknowledge the wonderful achievements of our old girls. Many have achieved astounding academic and personal successes. Some have been specially acknowledged by Danebank and have received notable school awards. Others have returned to speak at assemblies, providing current students with great role models and motivating them to strive for their best.
