Excursions
Excursions occur throughout the schooling years and provide students with:

• Practical experiences which enhance their understanding of topics they study
• Opportunities to develop friendships in a different setting

Camps
We have an extensive outdoor education and camp program which extends throughout the schooling years.

Aims of the Program:

• To give special opportunities for strong personal bonds to develop between students.
• To give students opportunities which extend their boundaries, such as abseiling, canoeing etc.

Some camps have other specific purposes e.g. to assist students in developing good study habits.

Overseas Travel
Danebank arranges at least one overseas trip each year. These trips are offered to groups of students who are at a suitable age. Usually, the trips enable students to extend their abilities in speaking foreign languages.

Recent trips have been to:

• Japan
• China
• Germany
• U.S.A.
• New Zealand
• New Caledonia

Danebank also participates in the annual Hurstville City trip to Shiroishi, Japan.
