Scholarships
Danebank offers an educational journey filled with amazing challenges, guidance from outstanding educators and an individually supportive environment in which students discover their personal strengths.
The school offers academic and other scholarships each year. These include:
- Full and Half academic scholarships for entry into year 5, 7 and 11;
- A Year 11 All Rounder Scholarship (see application details below*)
- A half Old Girls scholarship for the daughter of a former Danebank student entering Year 7; and
- A Music scholarship for a student entering Year 7, 8 or 9.

Students will not be considered for audition until this has been received by the Scholarship Administrator.
Scholarships cover tuition fees for the length of the student’s attendance at the school and so offer significant opportunities for students with special abilities to benefit from the challenging Danebank environment. Scholarships will only be awarded to Australian residents.
*Year 11 All Rounder Scholarship
The recipient will be a student who exhibits qualities such as integrity, leadership, initiative, care and compassion for others and personal responsibility.
Applicants should submit a Statement of Endeavour referring to ongoing involvement and contributions to all of the following areas:
- Her School
- Performing Arts
- Community Service, including church-based endeavours
- Sports
- Any other extra curricula endeavours.
Applications should include
- Statements from referees attesting to contributions
- phone contact details of referees
Applicants will also sit for the ACER examinations.
Life Skills Scholarship
There will no Life Skills Scholarship offered for 2013. Applications will re-open later for 2014.
To apply for an academic Scholarship
Scholarship Applications are available online at the end of each year. They conclude when the Scholarship examinations take place, usually in February.
The process for applications for the 2013 program has now closed.
The exam for 2013 applications was held on 25 February 2012. Successful applicants will be contacted on Tuesday 27 March. All other applicants will receive written feedback regarding their test results in mid April.
