Bus Service
Danebank’s Bus service provides transport for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 depending on locality.
Features
The service has the following features:
- Four buses travel different routes. Danebank students come from a wide geographical area, mainly the St George and Sutherland Shire districts.
- Buses pick up and drop off children from their homes. The routes are drawn up each January according to student addresses and considering the reasonable time taken to collect students and take them to their destinations.
- Most parents book buses for the morning and afternoon services. However, some parents book one daily service only.
- Charges are reasonable.
- Priority of place is given to younger students which may mean that older students in Year 5 or Year 6 may be refused access to the bus service.
- Occasional bookings are not possible.
