PDHPE & SPORTS
Danebank girls are extremely enthusiastic about playing sports and they have many opportunities. They are encouraged to do their best, to learn new skills and to be good team members, applauding others for their achievements.
PDHPE & SPORTS LESSONS
Sports and PDHPE lessons are taught by qualified PDHPE teachers specialists as part of students’ weekly timetables. In their lessons, the focus is on mastering fundamental movement skills such as throwing, catching, skipping and hopping. In their sports lessons, girls participate in a wide variety of activities such as dance, gymnastics, swimming, cross country, athletics, hockey, netball, cricket, basketball, football and more.
SPORTING COMPETITIONS
Danebank belongs to IPSHA (Independent Primary School Heads of Australia) which supports Primary School sporting competitions. Danebank students have the opportunity to compete against other schools in a range of these competitions. Danebank has had students represent at state and national levels in a range of these sports through the IPSHA pathway.

FACILITIES
Facilities include an Aquatic Centre, Gymnasium and multi-purpose court.

Students may enrol for extra sports activities which include Swimming, Gymnastics and Tennis.
