EMILY MAGUIRE, DIRECTOR OF CO-CURRICULAR PERFORMING ARTS

Emily is a classically trained violinist and composer, and has studied at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. She has her Masters in Curriculum and Teaching and has taught music to all ages both here and abroad. Emily has worked at Danebank for 14 years and knows that Danebank is a place where students are cared for, challenged, and developed for their strengths and passions.

“From my first moments at Danebank, I was struck by the kindness and respect I found here and the deep passion for learning our students possess. Danebank recognises the importance of educating the whole child. This means that our girls can deeply explore music and the performing arts, try new things, refine their practice and become experts, as well as reap the enormous benefits that pursuing the arts brings to their overall academic achievements. I am deeply grateful to work in a school that offers this to the young people of our society.”
